Adding new autoresponses.
Ok...now that you know how to create a mailing list, let's add the finishing touches by adding a few sequential autoresponders to it. On the Automation Station menu, place your mouse over "Follow-up" and click on "View lists" to display all the existing mailing lists.
Now, from the "Options" tab of the list that came up, click on "Messages" on the list you want to add new autoresponders to. Once you do, a new screen will appear with a list of the existing autoresponses for that list. It will look like this:

This list shows the existing autoresponders for the selected list and the number of days each autoresponse should be delayed. You also have two options (shown with the red numbers in the graphic above):
1) Add message: This link allows you to add a new autoresponse to your list.
2) Test messages: Sends you the first message in the series for testing purposes
(If you want to receive your entire series, set them all to go out with a zero day
delay and subscribe using a web form... remember to change the sequence
back to normal after testing).
3) Options: Here you can either edit or delete an existing autoresponse.
Click on "Add message" (Option 1) to add a new autoresponse to your mailing list. You will be taken to a new screen that shows a box like this one:

4) Text or HTML: Select whether you want to send out your zero-day messages as text or as HTML. If you click the HTML link, you'll be taken to a new page where you can enter both text and HTML (multi-mime mailing).
5) Delay: This is the number of days the system will wait before sending out this message after the initial subscription request.
6) Subject: This field asks you for the subject of the e-mail message that will go out instantly after someone subscribes to your list. As you can see, you can click on the two tabs above to insert personalization tags into the subject of your e-mail.
7) Message: This is the body of the e-mail message. You can click on any of the tabs above to personalize your message to each of your customers (these fields will depend on the information you gather about each subscriber -- we'll go over this a bit later down the road).
8) Preview message: Once you've filled in the information on all the fields, click this button to preview and create your new message. Remember that you can always go back and modify the details of your list from the "View lists" menu of the Automation Station.
Once you click the "Add message" button, you will be taken back to the list of autoresponses for the specific mailing list you're editing. You can keep adding as many autoresponses as you want to have!
