How to e-mail your lists.

On the Automation Station, menu place your mouse over "FollowUp" and click on the "Send Email" sub-menu. You'll be taken to a new screen where you'll be able to compose (or paste in) the message you want to broadcast to your mailing list.
Let's go over the options you have when sending out a mass e-mail to your lists:

1) Text or HTML: The broadcast e-mail feature allows you to send a plain text message or a multi-mime message that includes both text and HTML. Use this field to select which type of mailing you want to send your list.

2) Select a list: Check each box to select which of your lists you want to e-mail.

3) Insert fields: Use these buttons to mail-merge information in the subject line.

4) Subject: Type in the subject of your e-mail message. You can use any of the buttons above it to insert personalization tags that will be merged by our system.

5) Insert fields: Use these buttons to mail-merge information in the body of your mailing. The "Edit link" button will insert a link that your subscribers can click to modify their subscription information. Listed here you'll also see buttons for each field that you've created in the fieldsets when creating your web subscription forms.

6) Body of your message: Use this field to type in the body of your e-mail message. You can use any of the buttons above to insert personalization tags. The tags you can use depend on what information you collected from your users while signing up.

7) Preview message: When you click this button, you'll be shown a preview of the e-mail you're about to send. Make sure you check *everything* before you send out your broadcast.

After clicking the "Preview message" button, you'll be taken a to a new screen that looks just like the following graphic:

The "Preview mailing" screen gives you 3 options:

7) Edit Message: Click this button to go back to the previous page and continue editing your mailing.

8) Send immediately: Clicking this button will send out the mail instantly.

9) Schedule Message: This button allows you to schedule the mailing to go out in a future date.


Scheduling a broadcast.

If you click the "Schedule Message" button, you'll be taken to the scheduler page. It looks exactly like this:

10, 11, 12, 13) These fields allow you to configure the exact date and time of when your broadcast should go out.

14) This drop-down menu allows you to select the status of your broadcast. If you want to schedule it, select "Queued", if you want to set it as a draft and re-schedule it later, then select the "Sent" option.

15) This button allows you to save the schedule of your broadcast.

After clicking the "Save" button, you'll be taken to a new screen where you can see all the messages you've scheduled. It looks exactly like this:
